Valinda Isabell Tutwiler

Valinda Isabell Tutwiler, 84, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
Miss Tutwiler was born on February 6, 1933 in Martinsburg, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Vandis Bailey. She was employed by L&S Diner and Old Virginia Ham.
She is survived by her children, Susan Scroggins, Steven Scroggins; caregiver Carolyn Custer and husband Buck of Harrisonburg; her siblings, Frances Cope, Betty Young, Janet Mayhew, Peggy Wilt, Esther Rickel, Larry Bailey, Lewis Bailey, Carol Long, Kathleen Frick, Mary Jane Jackson; two granddaughters, Megan Huff , Morgan Huff and a great grandchild, Kolde Huff.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Owens; a grandson, David Owens, Jr.; two brothers, Robert Bailey and Roger Bailey; and her companion of 30 years, Bob Burner.
The body was cremated and burial will be held privately.
