Twila Swope Showalter Obituary (1938

Twila S. Showalter, 79 Twila Grace Swope Showalter, 79, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2018 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab where she had been a resident for the past 18 years. Twila is survived by her husband Henry; three sons, Darryl Showalter and wife Cathy, Ronald Showalter and wife Sherry, Glen Showalter and wife Kim; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings, Galen Swope and wife Ruth, Nelson Swope and wife Gloria, Edwin Swope and wife Charlotte, Erma Blosser and husband Carroll, and John Swope and wife Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sem and Ruby Kiser Swope; and a sister, Belinda Oplander. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Lindale Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall. An informal time of remembrance will be held following the visitation at 3 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date. A BIG, BIG thank you to the nurses, CNA's and aides at Harrisonburg Health for their excellent care of Twila during her years there.
