Tony Lynn Stover

Tony Lynn Stover, 56, a resident of Clover Hill, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
Born on April 17, 1961 in Rockingham County, he was the son of the late Robert Leroy and Luella Ann McDorman Stover. Mr. Stover was employed by Wampler Foods from the mid to the late 1970's. He retired from the Virginia Department of Agriculture as a program manager after more than 38 years of service with the Poultry Grading program. He very much loved his immediate family and enjoyed watching the grandchildren play sports and grow up.
On January 5, 1980, he was married to Deanna Chapman who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Chad Stover and wife Whitney of Clover Hill, Brittni Shiflet and husband Clay of Clover Hill; a sister Lisa Hinegardner and husband David of Woodstock; five grandchildren, Kennedy Shiflet, Carter Stover, Berkley Shiflet, Reid Stover, Ellington Shiflet; and six nieces and one nephew.
At his request, all services will be held privately.
