Thomas Carroll "Tommy" Rose, 78, a resident of Harrisonburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. Mr. Rose was born on December 19, 1944 in Weems, Virginia and was a son of the late Richard Arnold Rose Sr and Vivian Pearl McCarty Rose. He was a waterman, carpenter, and jack of all trades. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Sisson (Charles "Toby") of Lively, Virginia, Brenda Elbourn (Chuck) White Stone, Virginia, brother, Richard A. Rose Jr. of Weems, Virginia; grandchildren, Tiffany Walters (Dustin) of White Stone, Virginia, Brooke Elbourn of White Stone Virginia; great-grandchildren, Tinsley Walters, Landry Walters; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rose was preceded in death by a brother, William Grover Rose. Following cremation, all services will be private.
