Thomas Joseph McGuire Jr.

Thomas Joseph McGuire Jr., 65, a resident of Rockingham, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Mr. McGuire was born on May 9, 1961 in New Jersey and was a son of the late Thomas “Tom” Joseph and Jane Ann Hanley McGuire Sr. He was employed as a diesel mechanic for Fairfax Connector and Liberty Fuel. He served in the United States Navy.

Surviving are his children, Michael Joseph McGuire and wife Bethany, Ryan Patrick McGuire and wife Melissa, Amy Ann Kern; siblings, Mary Elizabeth Herritt and husband Kevin, Kathleen McGuire Buschbacher and husband Scott, Margaret “Peggy” Jane Kruger and husband Martin, Matthew “Matt” Joseph McGuire and wife Barbara, William “Bill” Michael McGuire and wife Michelle; aunt, Mary Gilbert; uncle, Frank McGuire and wife Dominque; grandchildren, Ariel Lynn McGuire, Isabelle Rose McGuire, Noella Jane McGuire, Lily Del Rucker, Keller Ray Rucker, Violet Jean Riddle, Corabell Ann Riddle, and Laurel Lynn Riddle; and his ex-wife, Gail McClintock.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9, 2026 at The Church of Nativity in Burke, Virginia at 10 a.m.
