Terre Welshon Obituary (1948 - 2025) - Harrisonburg, Virginia

Terre Brandt Welshon, 77, a former resident of Wilmington, NC, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, under hospice care at Bellaire at Stone Port, where she had resided for the last two years in the memory care unit. Born on Valentine’s Day, Terre was a natural at spreading love to all that knew her. She received her bachelor’s degree in education and worked for the state of Ohio. She also taught at the deaf and blind school in Romney, West Virginia --- a testament to her commitment to fostering communication and respect for others. She worked with Girl Scouts and youth summer camp programs, yet again inspiring young minds. Terre loved music and was on the board and sang tenor with the Wilmington Choral Society. Creative to her core, Terre enjoyed pottery, knitting, painting, and crafting beaded jewelry, with a deep appreciation for Native American history and music. Her love of nature reflected her desire to connect and share with many friends, family and her many beloved pet cats and dogs. Terre was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
