Speedy Knight Obituary (1946

Speedy Daniel Leon Knight, 71, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Sentara RMH Medical Center. Mr. Knight was born on May 19, 1946 in Rockingham County and was the son of the late Paul and Ruby Hoover Knight. On May 12, 1967 he married the former Nancy Louise Smith who survives. Also surviving are two sons Dennis Knight, Carson Knight both of Rockingham; one sister, Carol Knight; five grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and a special cousin, Karen Payne. In addition to his parents, Mr. Knight was preceded in death by his brothers and sister, Ricki Knight, Avis Knight, Ronnie Knight, and Wanda Smith. Jay Rohrer will conduct a graveside service on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Clinton Cemetery. The casket will be closed and there will be no formal visitation.
