Robin Lee Thomas Obituary (1962 - 2014)

Robin Lee Thomas, 52 Robin Lee Golden Thomas, 52, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on December 11, 2014. She had been failing in health for several years. Mrs. Thomas was born on January 21, 1962 in New York and was the daughter of the late James Alton and Shirley Ann (Webber) Golden. She was a caregiver for children and adults and had a special love for children. In her spare time she loved to cook, especially ribs, and loved music of all kinds. She was a member of Mt. Clinton Mennonite Church. She married Bert Edward Thomas who passed away on October 27, 2000. Surviving are six brothers and sisters, Beverly Cubero, Loretta Smith, Debra Smith, Howard Golden, Wayne Golden, Doug Golden; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Golden and a brother, James Golden. Pastor Lee Martin will conduct a memorial service on Monday evening, December 15, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Clinton Mennonite Church. Following cremation, a service of committal will be held at Woodland Mennonite Cemetery, in Basye, Virginia on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Care & Share program at Mt.
