Robin Grogg Nieves

Robin Dawn Grogg Nieves, 54, passed away December 10, 2015 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
Robin was born on January 11, 1961 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of Doris Jean Hartman Hoover and the late Robert William Hoover Sr. She worked at Walmart for many years as a cake decorator.
Her husband and companion of the last 23 years, Stacey Nieves survives.
In addition to her husband and mother are two children Roger Lee (Boogie) Hoover Jr. and Carl Franklin (Bubby) Shifflett Jr; a step son, Michael Nieves, a brother, Willy Hoover and sister Angie Harper, two grandchildren Zoey Hoover and Haze Shifflett and her two beloved puppies, Snoopy and Ashes and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dean Grogg.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6p.m. until 8p.m at the McMullen Funeral Home Harrisonburg.
The body will be cremated.
