Rhonda Kay Fox

Rhonda Kay (Lichty) Fox went to be with her Lord peacefully, surrounded by her family, in her home in Dayton, VA on Tuesday, June 23, 2015.

She was born on July 5, 1963 in Oakland, MD to Ralph and Mary Ellen (Miler) Lichty.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Kevin Fox, one son, Daniel Kevin Fox, Dayton, VA, and one daughter, Bethany Gail Fox, Lynchburg, VA, her parents, one brother, Steven Lichty, and wife Lou Ellen, Bruceton Mills, WV, and one sister, Danelda Lichty, Goshen, IN, three nephews, Justin and Travis Lichty, and Jesse Skipper and two nieces, Jennifer and Jessica Fox.

In her youth, she was very active in her church and 4-H and was a member of the Southern Garrett County Rescue Squad.

She was a kind and loving wife and mother and enjoyed doing things with her family. She always put her Lord, her family, and friends' needs before herself. She loved working with the children in her church and with the children with special needs in the school where she worked.

Visitation will be held at the McMullen Funeral Home, 5784 Greenmount Road, Harrisonburg, VA from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015. Friends may visit the funeral home any time after 12 PM Thursday.

Services will be held at the Westside Baptist Church, 715 W. Wolfe St., Harrisonburg on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Troy Pearson officiating. Graveside services to follow at the Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church.
