Phyllis Marie (Weare) Dodd Obituary (1925 - 2016)

Phyllis Marie Weare Dodd, 91, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Monday November 7, 2016 at Sentara RMH Medical Center. Mrs. Dodd was born on November 5, 1925 in Washington, D.C., and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Agnes (Robson) Weare. She worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture until 1981. Phyllis was a member of the Fairview Church of the Brethren. On March 20, 2004 she married Edward F. Dodd who preceded her in death on July 28, 2014. Mrs. Dodd is survived by her step-children, Linda Ebersole and Peter Dodd. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A graveside service will be held on Friday November 11, 2016 at 12:30 PM at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD. A memorial service will be held on Monday November 14, 2016 at 11 AM at the Strite Auditorium of the Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community in Harrisonburg with Pastors Jim Hall, Paul Mishler, and Al Huyard officiating.
