Patricia "Patty" Morris Obituary (1956 - 2025)

Patricia Ann “Patty” Morris, 68, a resident of Fulks Run, passed away on February 5, 2025 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Patty was born on March 28, 1956 in Elkins, West Virginia and was a daughter of the late Gerald Dallas and Opal Beatrice Clayton White. A natural born caregiver, Patty worked at Pleasant View Home in the “Louk” House where she enjoyed taking care of the residents. She welcomed everyone into her home with open arms and she loved cooking for loved ones. She was a beloved wife, mother, Grammy, and friend. She loved to start her morning with a strong cup of coffee, watching the birds from her favorite spot on the front porch, surrounded by her plants, providing special care to the one she had since she was 16 years old. On November 25, 1976, she married Russell “Rusty” Arnold Morris II who preceded her in death on February 25, 2020. Surviving are her children, Crystal Mongold and husband Bobby, Dusty Morris and wife Sam; siblings, Gerald “Jerry” White and wife Diane, Mike White and wife Brenda; sister-in-law, Susie White; grandchildren, Nora Morris, Ravyn “Ralphie” Mongold, Leyden Mongold, Ashlyn Mongold; Christopher Crews and wife Taylor, Kaitlyn Crews, Bethany Crews and fiancee Jesse Layne, Makayla Britton and husband Israel “Izzy”, Makenna Crews; great-granddaughter, Rachael “Peachie” Crews; and her “sister-in-life”, Glendine Stalnaker. Also many special nieces and nephews along with their families. In addition to her parents and husband, Patty was preceded in death by her brothers, Dallas “Gene” White, Richard “Dick” White, Steve White; and a sister-in-law, Becky White. Following cremation, a celebration of life will he held at a later date.
