P. "Jeannette" Arbogast Obituary (1942

Pauline "Jeannette" Moses Arbogast, 74, a resident of Dayton, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Sentara RMH Medical Center. Mrs. Arbogast was born on November 1, 1942, Hurricane, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Paul Verlan and Emma Virginia Watts Moses. She graduated from Hurricane High School and attended Bob Jones University. She formerly worked at Rockingham National Bank and Thomas Harrison Middle School as a secretary. She was a member of the Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene where she sang in the choir, played piano and helped with the Encouragement Ministry. She always shared her faith with others. On March 18, 1982, she married Harold Lee Arbogast who survives. Also surviving are her children, Amanda Lawson and husband John of Bridgewater, Malisa Arbogast and husband Jeff of Dayton, Kevin Eshleman and wife Jill of Lithia, Florida, Pat Kauffman and husband Rich of Harrisonburg, Michael Arbogast and wife Lisa of Harrisonburg; two sisters, Barbara Martin, Mishele Roquemore; an uncle, Okey Wiley; in- laws, Olive Arbogast, Wade Arbogast, Catherine Heatwole; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Eugene "Butch" Moses, and two brothers-in-law, Carl Jasper Arbogast and Robert Bruce Arbogast. The ministers of the church will conduct a memorial service on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 5 p.m. at the Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the church. Friends are also welcome to call at her home at any time.
