Meta K. Good Obituary (1959 - 2011)

Meta K. Good, 51 Meta Kathryn ?Kathy? Good, 51, a resident of Elkton, died Saturday May 7, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Good was born on June 17, 1959 in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of Lucille Erlene Fitzwater Hensley and her step father Wallace W. Hensley and the late Andrew Miller Johnson. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Bridgewater Nursing Home, Liberty House, Camelot and Sunnyside Nursing Homes, Rocco Hatchery and was housekeeper at local hotels. On October 30, 1989, she married David Allen Good, Sr. who survives. Also surviving is a son, David Allen Good, Jr.; three sisters, Joyce May Fitzwater May and husband Allen of Harrisonburg, Linda Johnson Cunningham of Harrisonburg, and Susan Johnson Dovel and husband Robert of Elkton and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Jean Johnson. Rev. John Snipes will conduct a funeral service on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisonburg. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home.
