Melba Juanita Fryhover, 91, passed away November 15, 2014.
Mrs. Fryhover was born on September 23, 1923 in Enid, Oklahoma and was the daughter of the late Emmett Jefferson and Leah Juanita Baker Powell. She enjoyed sewing and working with Antiques, while living in Georgia and South Carolina with her daughter Juanita. After moving to Bridgewater she enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She attended Greenmount Church of the Brethren.
Her husband James J. Fryhover preceded her in death in April 1957,
Surviving are three children, Cynthia Shaver and husband Bill, Harrisonburg; Juanita Gamez and
husband Villa , South Carolina; James Fryhover Jr. and wife Barbara, North Carolina; six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and special caregivers, Mary Ellen and Joe Coffey, Bridgewater.
She was the preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Lorentz Bosworth. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Pastors Ken Dolan and David Dulaney will conduct a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday December 13, 2014 at the Greenmount Church of the Brethren. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
The body was cremated.
