Mary Rhodes

Mary Grace Good Rhodes, 101, a resident of Dayton, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at her home.

Mary Grace was born in Columbiana, OH, on April 11, 1925. She was a daughter of Frank R. and Stella Wenger Good. She moved with her parents to the Mole Hill community in 1927, where she lived her entire life.

She was married to Eber A. Rhodes, on February 20, 1947, who died November 30, 2009.
She was a gracious hostess and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Riverdale Old Order Mennonite Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Judith (Nelson) Martin, Maurice Rhodes, Richard (Lois) Rhodes, Stella (Steven) Showalter, Marjorie (Nelson) Shank; daughter-in-law Melodie Rhodes; 23 grandchildren; 90 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Rhodes; brother-in-law, John C. Rhodes; and a sister-in-law, Norma Koogler.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Eber A. Rhodes, Jr; daughter-in-law, Cathy Rhodes; sisters, Irene Rhodes and Edith Good; and brother, Lewis Good.

The ministers of the church will conduct a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Pleasant View Old Order Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at her home, 1557 Silver Lake Road, Dayton, from 6-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, and from 3-5:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20.
