May E. Kesner

Mary Kesner, 84 Dayton Mary Evelyn Kile Kesner, 84 died December 14, 2010, at Envoy of Staunton where she had been a resident. Mrs. Kesner was born on September 19, 1926 in Upper Tract, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Eston and Edith Kimble Kile. She worked at Imco/Brockway for 25 years until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the Ottobine United Methodist Church. On October 30, 1946, she married Walter Samuel Kesner Jr. who preceded her in death March 30, 2008. Surviving are a son, Samuel Edward Kesner, Timberville; a daughter Linda K. Will, Dayton; two brothers, Bunis Kile and Reginald Kile and two sisters, Mildred Kimble and Shirley Kile all of Upper Tract; two grandchildren, Christine Heather Devier and Derek Andrew Devier and three great grandchildren, Cassie Bibble, Jeremiah Knicely and Jessica Knicely; and a great great granddaughter, Destiny Newcomer. Pastor Carl Stewart will conduct a funeral service Friday afternoon at 2:30p.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home Harrisonburg. The family will receive friends prior to the service from1:30p.m. until 2:30p.m. at the funeral home.
