Margil Ruth Moyers Obituary (1928 - 2014)

Margil Ruth Moyers, 85, a resident of Hinton, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014 at Sentara RMH Medical Center. Mrs. Moyers was born on December 29, 1928 in Brushy Run, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Charles Austin and Anna Rebecca Kile Mowery. She was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to music and crocheting. On October 21, 1950, she married Otis Lindbergh Moyers who preceded her in death on March 11, 2007. Surviving are three daughters, Trudy Pennington and husband Danny of Harrisonburg, Wanda Masilek and husband D.J. of Harrisonburg, Mona Kirsch and husband Neil of Bridgewater; five grandchildren, Aaron Garber, Meghan Garber, Stacey Wood, Jamie Arehart, Marty Pennington; and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Thursday May 22, 2014 at 10 AM at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Don Guthrie officiating. There will be no formal visitation, however friends may visit the funeral home at any time Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
