Margie "Til" Minnick Heatwole

Margie "Til" Minnick Heatwole, 84, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Monday January 25, 2016 at Augusta Health.
Margie was born on August 25, 1931 in Timberville and was a daughter of the late Otis Franklin and Frances (Morris) Minnick. "Til" worked as Assistant Manager at BBQ Ranch for more than 60 years and always enjoyed being around people. The love of her job and compassion for customers made "Til" an icon and face of the Ranch. She was longtime member of First Church of the Brethren.
On December 12, 1952 she married Wiley W. Heatwole who preceded her in death on March 14, 2014.
Mrs. Heatwole is survived by her two daughters, Vivian Heatwole Myers of Staunton, LaVonne Heatwole Crist of Harrisonburg; two brothers, Calvin "Bill" Minnick of Linville, James Minnick of Richmond; two granddaughters, Mollie Crist and Abby Crist. In addition to her husband and parents, "Til" was preceded in death by her siblings Ethel Kesling, Steve Minnick and Otis John Minnick.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 29, 2016 at 1 PM at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday January 28 from 1 until 3 PM
