Jeremy Lee Stokes Obituary (1992 - 2011)

Jeremy Lee Stokes, 18 Jeremy Lee Stokes, 18, a resident of Crimora, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 from an automobile accident. Mr. Stokes was born on July 21, 1992 in Charlottesville, and was the son of Connie and Kyle Roberts of Crimora and John and Sylvia Stokes of Edinburg. He was an associate member of the Timberville Fire Department. He was an organ donor. Surviving in addition to his parents is two brothers, Jeffrey Vandevander and Jason Stokes; two step-sisters Megan Wimer and Kasey Roberts; his grandparents, Danny and Marylou McAlexander; step grandparents, Barbara Lambert and Waldo Roberts; god parent, Bernie Wilkins; and a nephew JJ Vandevander. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sheldon and Kay Vandevander. The family will receive friends and a viewing will be held on Tuesday evening at the McMullen Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. There will be no formal burial service.
