Jacqueline F. Puffenberger Obituary (1946 - 2010)

Jacqueline (Jackie) Elizabeth Foley Puffenberger, 64, died December 28, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident. Mrs. Puffenberger was born September 9, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Dabney Adams and Nancy Virginia Lonergan Foley. She graduated from Turner Ashby High School and James Madison University. She worked as a librarian for Singers Glen School and Fulks Run Elementary. She was an avid NASCAR fan. Mrs. Puffenberger was a local genealogy researcher and she had published several genealogy books over the years. In 1969, she married Riley Cameron Puffenberger who preceded her in death. She is survived by distant relatives and her close friends whom she considered her adopted family Jeff Moyers and Diane Stephens and the entire Moyers family. She was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Janiece Yvonne Foley. Pastor Dennis Taylor will conduct a memorial service Friday afternoon at 2p.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from six until eight at the funeral home.
