Heber (H.C.) Campbell, 79 Harrisonburg Heber (H.C.) Coffman Campbell, 79, of Harrisonburg, died on September 23, 2016. Heber was born April 28, 1937, and was the son of the late Raymond Ercil and Sarah Coffman Campbell formerly of Dayton, VA. He was preceded in death by grandparents H.T. B. and Mary Frances Parret Campbell, Waynesboro, VA; and Homer and Ella Swope Coffman, Dayton, VA. H.C. was employed at Eastern State Hospital, Williamsburg, VA; Pat Logan at The National Coach Sales; and John Serrell's Windshield City both of Harrisonburg. He was also a long time franchise owner/operator with Southland's 7-11 Corporation in Harrisonburg. He is survived by one daughter, Sandra (Rev. Dr. Jay) White of Grayson, GA; grandchildren, Larry Bruce Turner, II, Williamsburg, VA; Jimmy (Betty) White, Hannibal, MO; and Joshua (Heather) White, St. Louis, MO ; siblings, Lewis (Phyllis) Campbell; Barbara Campbell (William, Jr.) Showalter, Sarah Campbell (the late James) Byler all of Harrisonburg; and Dorcas (Dee) Campbell (Bob) Blair of Stephens City; sister-in-law Mary Frances "Francie" Campbell, many nieces and nephews, one aunt, Phoebe F. Coffman. He was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Ersel Campbell, Jr. who died September 22, 2016. Visitation with family and friends will be held at McMullen Funeral Home on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Jay White officiating at Weavers Cemetery. Friends may view and sign the register book at the funeral home beginning on Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. The family wishes to thank the staff at Sentara RMH Medical Center, Harrisonburg Health and Rehabilitation Center, Willow Estates Assisted Living Facility and Legacy Hospice for their care and support of Heber over the past six years.
