Georgie Lee Lambert Obituary (1934 - 2017)

Georgie Lee Lambert, 82 Georgie Lee Fulk Lambert, 82, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017. She had most recently resided with her daughter in Mt. Crawford. Mrs. Lambert was born on September 3, 1934 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Katie Knight Fulk. She was a loyal, lifetime member of the Mt. Clinton Church of God, where she was known as the "Candy Lady" On May 17, 1959, she married Edward Lee Lambert who preceded her in death on June 12, 1995. Surviving are three children, Michael L. Lambert of Harrisonburg; Darla Lambert of Bridgewater, Susie Somers and husband Keith of Mt. Crawford; grandchildren, Tina Hoover, Mark Hoover, Sarah Goff and husband Dustin, Sharon Sturgeon and fiance, Allen Fretwell, III; a great granddaughter, Kaylen Hoover and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Shoemaker, Ernest Fulk, and a grandchild, Jacob Lambert. Pastors Michael Fallin and Mike Reynolds will conduct a funeral service on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at McMullen Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Clinton Cemetery. Friends may begin calling at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9 a.m. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
