Geneva F. Tusing Obituary (1924 - 2010)

Geneva F. Tusing, 86 Harrisonburg Geneva Frances Tusing, 86, died July 29, 2010 at Oak Lea Nursing Home where she had been a resident for two years. Ms. Tusing was born on March 10, 1924 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Claude Cleveland and Ressie Pearl Gassman Swartz. She worked as a secretary for M & S Corporation and she owned and operated the Laundromat in Timberville. She was a member of Weavers Mennonite Church. Surviving are a brother, Carroll Swartz, Dayton, two nieces and three nephews and her caregiver, Jane Burkholder, Harrisonburg. Ms. Tusing was preceded in death by a sister Ethel Coakley and her husband Lawrence Richard Tusing. Reverend Phil Kanagy will conduct a funeral service Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11a.m. at the Weavers Mennonite Church. Burial will follow at Weavers Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the McMullen Funeral Home, Harrisonburg at any time after noon on Sunday.
