Ethel V. Fink Obituary (1936 - 2012)

Ethel V. Fink, 75 Harrisonburg Ethel V. Fink, 75, died February 24, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Fink was born on June 17, 1936, in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Grover and Tilda Ann Cooper Fink. She was a supervisor in the housekeeping department at James Madison University. She enjoyed watching television ministry, gardening and loved her pets, Sparky, Fancy and Petey and loved her family. She was a member of the Mount Clinton Church of God. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Isaac Andrew Eckard Sr. who preceded her in death November 5, 1999. Surviving are three daughters, Shelby Ray (Gilbert Jr.) Harrisonburg; Debra Wooddell(Roger Sr.), Linden, Virginia; Judy Speet (Michael), Winchester; two sons, Isaac Andrew Fink Jr. (Elizabeth Jane), Weyers Cave; Allen Wayne Fink (Betty), Middletown; one brother, Shirley Fink, Harrisonburg; one sister, Mamie Smith, Keezletown; fifteen biological grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Pastor Jay Hanger will conduct a funeral Thursday afternoon at 2p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1p.m. until 2p.m. The casket will be closed.
