Earl Smith

Earl Smith, 85, of Florida passed away on July 6, 2025.

Earl was born in June 9, 1940 in Circleville, WV. He was the son of the late Lora Murphy Smith and Richard Pershing Smith.

Sadly, Earl was proceeded in death by his children, Jeffrey Earl Smith and Kimberly Rae Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Smith; his daughter Terri Knicely (Harold); son-in-law Craig Mitchell; grandchildren, Chad Knicely, Jordan Knicely, Megan Evans (Logan), Brandon Mitchell, Codie Mitchell (Jenna), Emma Kyger (Josh); 13 great grandchildren; stepsons, Jimmy Bell (Cindy), Scott Bell (Morgan); step granddaughter, Jessica Prather; and his sister JoAnna Robbins.

Earl retired from A&P after 30 years. After he worked for IGA, Richfood, and P&M sales. He then started his own construction business D&E and built many homes in the area.
