Donald L. Bradfield

Donald L. Bradfield, 68 Donald Lewis Bradfield, 68, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bradfield was born on February 27, 1943 in Pendleton County, West Virginia and was the son of Hoyt Bradfield and the late Ola Bean Bradfield. He was a 1963 graduate from Broadway High School. Mr. Bradfield worked in farming early in life, and in 1981, he started Bradfield & Co. Remodeling. Making many friends in his career, he took great pride and loved the work he did. He was a member of the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. On November 9, 1963, he married the former Mary Kile who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Kevin Bradfield and wife Venus and Steve Bradfield all of Broadway, a sister, Linda Smith and husband Norman of Harrisonburg, three grandchildren, Kyle Bradfield, Journee Bradfield, Stormee Bradfield, extended family, Glenn and Rebecca Myers of Mt. Sidney and several nieces and nephews. Pastor Terry Frank will conduct a memorial service on Monday afternoon, October 24, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Burial will be held privately. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
