Dennis "Denny" Garfield Crawford Obituary (1951

Dennis Garfield "Denny" Crawford, 72, a resident of Fulks Run, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at his home. Mr. Crawford was born on March 19, 1951 and was a son of the late Robert Matthew and Ruby Alice Crawford. He enjoyed his truck driving career. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, enjoyed playing horseshoes and spending time at his piece of heaven in the woods. Surviving are his children, Rhonda Warble and husband Darren of Bridgewater, Allison Robertson and husband Jonathan of Rockingham, John Crawford and Haley McDaniel of Elkton; siblings, Bob Crawford and wife Linda of Fulks Run, Debbie Alger and husband Jerry of Harrisonburg; grandchildren, Noah Warble, Courtney Prochaska, Casey Robertson, Miley Robertson, Rory Crawford, Sawyer Crawford; and his dogs, "Kali", "Luna", and "Reign". In addition to his parents, Mr. Crawford was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherrie Crawford. Pastor Dan Horning will conduct a funeral service on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Gospel Hill Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The casket will remain closed until the visitation begins.
