Charles W. Smith, Jr. Obituary (1931 - 2016)

Charles W. Smith Jr. 84 Singers Glen Charles William Smith Jr., 84, passed away March 22, 2016 at his home. He had been in failing health. Mr. Smith was born on October 18, 1931 in Mt. Clinton and was the son of the late Charles William Smith Sr. and Velma May Payne Smith. He worked at Burkholder Orchard, for Herman Bridges farm and at Wampler Foods until his retirement. He loved garden and shared his vegetables with neighbors and friends and loved to take walks around the community Surviving are brothers, Everett Smith and wife Debbie, Singers Glen and Eugene Bynaker; a sister Catherine Furr and several nieces and nephews. Pastor Duane Yoder will conduct a funeral service Friday morning at 11a.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Clinton Cemetery.
