Charles Eugene "Hardrock" Shoemaker Obituary (1953

Charles Eugene "Hardrock" Shoemaker, 65, a resident of Fulks Run, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at his home. Mr. Shoemaker was born on January 6, 1953 in Harrisonburg and was the son of the late Ford and Goldie Fulk Shoemaker. He was a truck driver and a member of Mt. Grove Church of the Brethren. Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Melissa Delawder Shoemaker; a son, Charles Randall Shoemaker of Fulks Run; two sisters, Janice "Jenny" Fulk, Dorothy Dot" Hanger; and nieces and nephews, Wendy Trumbo, Jo Demastus, Cindy Ryan, Ashley Helmick, and Jeff Hanger. In addition to his parents, Mr. Shoemaker was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Clark Shoemaker; and a brother, Carl "Jake" Shoemaker. The body was cremated and a service will be announced at a later date.
