Charles "Chuck" Carter, Jr., 49, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on February 27, 2017 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
Mr. Carter was born on September 5, 1967 and was the son of Charles Gibson and Sue Ellen Cook Carter, Sr. of Harrisonburg. He loved the music, especially the Steep Canyon Rangers, attending concerts, and the beach.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his siblings, Pamela Dickerson and husband Dickie of Norfolk, Cynthia Bowles and husband Jeff of Staunton, Lisa Mongold and husband Keith of Harrisonburg; and several nieces and nephews.
The body was cremated and there will be no formal services.
