Carolyn Heatwole

Carolyn Louise Miller Heatwole, 83, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

Mrs. Heatwole was born on August 29, 1942 in Rockingham County and was a daughter of the late Lynwood and Pearl Marie Brown Miller. She retired from VDOT in 1996 and later returned to work at Shenandoah Valley Electric Company.

On September 6, 1963, she married Ashby Lewis Heatwole who survives.

Also surviving is a son, Gregory Scott Heatwole and wife Robin of Baker, WV; brother, Marion Miller; and sister, Joyce Miller Plymale and husband Richard, all of Rockingham.

Following cremation, those wishing to sign the register book may do so on Monday, June 29, 2026 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
