Arizona Bunk Shoemaker Obituary (1923 - 2012)

Arizona Lee ?Bunk? Shoemaker, 88 Linville Arizona Lee ?Bunk? Shoemaker, 88, died August 24, 2012 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Shoemaker was born on December 22, 1923 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hattie Reedy Bare. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and her flowers. On September 21, 1942, she married Howard Wesley Shoemaker who preceded her in death on October 24, 1993. Surviving are two children, Woodrow Shoemaker, Linville; Judy Hottinger and husband Johnny of Bergton; a sister, Katherine Smith, Broadway, and a number of nieces and nephews. Rev. James Radford and Rev. Robert W. Smith Jr. will conduct a funeral service Tuesday afternoon at 2p.m. at the Cherry Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Singers Glen Cemetery.
